Sculpture Tour of Eau Claire - The ColorBlock
I had the honor of participating as a ColorBlock Artist for the Sculpture Tour of Eau Claire’s The ColorBlock - a group of murals done by local artists in downtown Eau Claire, Wisconsin. My mural is of a giraffe's head above the clouds, in space – surrounded by planets and stars – in the brightest colors I could find! My love of giraffes started when my son, Nash, was born – he gravitated towards them and ever since, they have had a special place in my heart. The beauty and unknown of space is so inspiring and is one of my favorite things to illustrate, whether it be planets, stars, galaxies – you name it.
